The traverse is primarily designed for the safe handling of irregularly shaped loads. It makes transporting long loads that require several attachment points no problem.

The traverse is primarily designed for the safe handling of irregularly shaped loads. It makes transporting long loads that require several attachment points no problem.

Magnetic traverse for Wiśniowski

Twelve magnet traverse.

The traverser is powered by 230VAC . The power supply is led from the current collectors to the electromagnet supply cabinet. The cabinet contains protection devices which secure the traverser's power and control circuits. The power is then supplied to the traverse electromagnets via a cable curtain and then to the cable drum.

The crosshead is radio-controlled. Switching on of the electromagnets is only possible if they come within 1cm of the panel. Switching on of the electromagnets is signalled by a light signal.

During the approach of the crosshead to the panel, an automatic release takes place.

Deactivation of the electromagnets is only possible by pressing two buttons on the radio transmitter simultaneously, which protects against accidental dropping of the panel.
