The overhead travelling crane is a lifting device, most often used in industrial halls, warehouses to transport and manipulate heavy loads.
Both single-girder overhead travelling cranes and double-girder cranes are characterised by their structure in the form of face girders and girder(s) on which a hoist or hook hoist moves, on which accessories can be attached in the form of a gripper, traverser or slings for safe lifting and transport of loads.
