Gantry crane
A crane device most commonly used on external high lift storage sites. It is characterised by a gate-like structure that moves along tracks placed on the ground (foundation). A gantry crane consists of a platform (girder) suspended on two lateral legs that bind and brace the structure to each other by means of gates. The girder is usually traversed by a hoist or, in the case of a double-girder gantry crane, a winch.

A rail-mounted gantry crane is a type of gantry crane that runs on rail tracks mounted on external gantry posts. It consists of two vertical pillars that are connected by a horizontal beam (bridge) on which a hoist or winch responsible for lifting and lowering loads is attached. The movement of the crane takes place on rails located at the bottom of the posts, which ensures its stability and precision in moving loads over large spaces.
